What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA1132-4ED12-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB), single-pole, rated for a continuous current Iu of 32 A. It uses a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release with LI protection — thermal for overload, magnetic for short-circuit. The magnetic short-circuit release is fixed at 320 A (10× In), non-adjustable. Breaking capacity hits 75.6 kA at 240 V AC and 9 kA at 415 V AC — that 75.6 kA figure is the headline number for 240 V distribution panels where fault current can run high. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 500 V.
Thermal derating and operating range
The 32 A rating holds at 45 °C and 50 °C. It derates to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and to 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C. Ambient operating range is -25 °C to +70 °C; storage range -40 °C to +80 °C. Maximum power loss is 3.53 W.
Panel fit and integration
Width is 25.4 mm (1 inch) — a single pole module that snaps onto a DIN rail. Depth is 70 mm, height 130 mm. Front face carries IP40 protection; the rest of the breaker is open to the enclosure environment. No auxiliary contacts are fitted (0 CO contacts), and there is no motor drive option or communication function.
