What this MCCB carries — and what that means for your panel
The Siemens 3VA1132-4EF36-0KC0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 32 A continuous at 40 °C, with a line-protection trip curve. Its interrupting capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V AC and 75.6 kA at 415 V, which means it can clear a hard fault on a distribution transformer secondary without the arc jumping the contacts — not every MCCB in this frame size carries that much headroom. The 800 V rated insulation voltage tells you the internal creepage distances are built for 690 V systems, so it slots into 400 V or 480 V panels with margin to spare.
DIN-rail fit and enclosure integration
At 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, and 130 mm tall, this breaker fits the standard 3-pole MCCB footprint on a DIN rail. The 76.2 mm width is three modular units. Panel builders: the 10.6 W maximum power loss at full load means you don't need forced ventilation in a typical IP54 enclosure.
