What this MCCB delivers
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1132-5GD46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated at 32 A continuous current, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic release — the fixed thermal element and magnetic trip set at 320 A short-circuit release. At 240 V it interrupts 187 kA; at 415 V, 121 kA; at 440 V, 75.6 kA; at 500 V and 690 V, 17 kA. That means it can handle high fault currents on a 240 V secondary or a 415 V industrial feeder without cascading upstream. Optional motor drive available for remote switching.
Thermal derating and ambient limits
Rated current holds at 32 A up to 50 °C, then derates to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 10.6 W.
Width 101.6 mm (4 in), height 130 mm (5.12 in), depth 70 mm (2.76 in). N-conductor protection is 100% rated — the neutral pole is full-size, not reduced. No communication function, so no extra wiring for bus or gateway.
