The Siemens 3VA1132-5GF42-0AA0-ZD00 is a 4-pole IEC molded-case circuit breaker in the 3VA1 frame 160 platform, rated for line protection with a TM240 thermal-magnetic trip unit. Overload protection is adjustable Ir=22A...32A, and short-circuit protection Ii=5...10 x In, giving the panel builder flexibility to coordinate with downstream loads. The N conductor is protected at 100% (full-rated neutral). A nut keeper kit is included, and this variant is configured for a DC Power OEM in China.
The adjustable overload range (22–32 A) means one part covers a band of load currents, reducing SKU count. Short-circuit pickup at 5–10 x In (160–320 A) is typical for motor branch circuits where you want to ride through inrush without nuisance tripping. Full-rated neutral (100%) is important when harmonic currents from VFDs or LED lighting can overload a reduced-neutral breaker.
Integration notes
