What this 3VA1 MCCB carries
The Siemens 3VA1132-6ED42-0AA0-ZD00 is a 4-pole IEC frame 160 molded case circuit breaker in breaking capacity class H, rated Icu=70kA at 415 VAC. That 70 kA interrupting rating means it can safely clear a fault up to that level without upstream fuses or a larger-frame breaker — a real advantage in high-fault panels where selectivity matters. The TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit is fixed at In=32 A with Ir=32 A overload protection and short-circuit pickup Ii=10 x In (320 A). The N conductor is unprotected (no overload sensing on the neutral), which is standard for line-side protection where the neutral is not expected to carry unbalanced load current.
Panel integration and sourcing
The 3VA1 frame 160 mounts on a DIN rail or can be screw-fixed to a backplate. At 32 A fixed Ir, there is no adjustment range on the overload — the breaker ships set for that exact load. The nut keeper kit is included for the DC Power OEM build; if you are replacing an existing unit in a panel, verify the neutral conductor is indeed unprotected (no neutral CT) before ordering.
