Line protection MCCB for high-fault panels
Its 40 A continuous rating holds across a 40 °C to 50 °C ambient without derating, dropping to 37 A at 70 °C. The interrupting capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V AC and 75.6 kA at 415 V AC, which puts this breaker into high-fault applications — main incoming or large subfeed where upstream transformer capacity is high. The 3-pole construction handles three-phase line protection, and the 70 mm depth keeps the can shallow enough for tight backpanel layouts.
SCCR profile and selectivity headroom
The SCCR curve drops from 121 kA at 240 V to 75.6 kA at 415 V, then 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That 11.9 kA floor at higher voltages is the binding number if your system runs 480 V or 600 V class — coordination studies need that figure, not the 240 V headline.
Width is 76.2 mm (3 in), height 130 mm (5.12 in), depth 70 mm (2.76 in). No undervoltage release or shunt trip on this variant — verify if your safety circuit needs one externally.
