What this breaker does on the line
The Siemens 3VA1140-6EE32-0AA0-ZD00 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 circuit breaker with a 70 kA breaking capacity at 415 V (class H). Rated In=40 A with adjustable overload protection Ir=28 A…40 A and fixed short-circuit protection Ii=10 × In. The TM220 thermal-magnetic trip gives a 20-second delay at 200% of Ir for motor-start inrush, so it won't nuisance-trip on a pump or compressor start.
Mounts on standard DIN rail in an IP40 or higher enclosure. The 3VA1 frame accepts plug-in accessories (auxiliary contacts, shunt trip, undervoltage release) that snap into the side slots without removing the breaker from the rail.
