Breaking capacity across voltages
The interrupting rating drops as voltage rises: 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 500 V and 690 V.
Thermal derating and power loss
The breaker holds 40 A continuously up to 50 °C ambient. Maximum power loss is 13.3 W — that heat must be considered in a sealed enclosure with other devices.
Auxiliary and undervoltage release configuration
This variant ships with two auxiliary switches (HQ type) and an undervoltage release (UVR). No ground-fault monitoring module is fitted, so external GFCI is needed if ground-fault protection is required.
Verify the busbar or lug kit spacing against the existing panel layout — the 76.2 mm width matches the common 3-inch (76.2 mm) footprint for 3-pole MCCBs.
