Rated load and interrupting capacity
The Siemens 3VA1150-3ED36-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 50 A at 40 °C, with the same rating holding at 45 °C and 50 °C before beginning a gentle derating curve — 49 A at 55 °C, 48 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. That means for a panel running warm at 55 °C ambient, you still get 49 A continuous; only above that does the trip threshold start to pull back. Interrupting capacity is specified per voltage: 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. The overcurrent release is a TM210 thermal-magnetic type — fixed thermal and magnetic settings, no electronic adjustment, which keeps the part simple and reliable for standard line-protection duty.
Front face IP40 rated. Maximum power loss is 14.6 W at rated load.
