The TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release is fixed — no field-swap of the trip unit. Breaking capacity runs 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V; that 75.6 kA figure at 240 V gives headroom for high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries where the available fault current is stiff. IP40 on the front means the breaker face is protected against tools and small wires, but the panel enclosure handles the rest.
At 55 °C it steps to 48 A, at 60 °C to 47 A, at 65 °C to 46 A, and at 70 °C to 45 A. The TM240 release is non-adjustable on the time curve (tr min. and tr max. both 1 s), so coordination with downstream devices relies on the fixed thermal band, not a dial.
The 76.2 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — it occupies three 25.4 mm module positions on a DIN rail or panel-mount plate.
