The interrupting capacity tells you where it can sit on the fault-current map: 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V. The TM240 thermal-magnetic release is fixed (non-adjustable), so this is a straight line-protection device, not a motor-protection or adjustable-trip unit. The front face carries a trip indicator and a 1 auxiliary + 1 trip alarm switch, so you get a remote status signal without adding a separate module.
Thermal derating — the real-world current
Above that it drops: 48 A at 55 °C, 47 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. That's the difference between a 50 A feeder and a 47 A feeder. Plan the load accordingly.
Mounts on DIN rail or screw-fixed baseplate in a standard SENTRON panel cutout. The 76.2 mm width is three 25.4 mm pole increments — common for 3-pole MCCBs. The auxiliary and alarm switch contacts are wired to the terminal block on the front; verify polarity if driving a DC signal back to the PLC.
