The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1150-3EF32-0HH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a continuous current rating of 50 A at 40 °C ambient, with no derating needed up to 50 °C — at 55 °C it still holds 49 A, and at 70 °C it's rated 45 A. That thermal curve means the breaker holds its full ampacity in most ventilated enclosures; only tight, hot cabinets force a derate. Breaking capacity is 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, 52.5 kA at 415 V, and 32 kA at 440 V — high enough for most industrial service-entrance and feeder applications where fault currents are substantial. The insulation voltage is rated 800 V, so the breaker can sit on 690 V systems without issue. This MCCB includes a shunt trip (STL) for remote opening and comes with two auxiliary switches plus one trip alarm switch (HQ configuration). The trip indicator and voltage trigger are present; undervoltage release and ground-fault monitoring are not fitted on this variant. No communication function — it's a standalone thermal-magnetic breaker, not a metering or communicating device.
Integration & Mounting
Dimensions are 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint that fits most Siemens SENTRON panelboards and third-party enclosures with busbar or cable connections. The 70 mm depth leaves room for rear-connected busbars without crowding the gland plate.
