SENTRON 3VA1150-5EE36-0AC0 — 50 A MCCB with TM220 Release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1150-5EE36-0AC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with a TM220 thermal-magnetic release, rated 50 A at 40 °C. It's designed for line protection in distribution panels and motor branch circuits where you need adjustable thermal and fixed magnetic trip curves. Interrupting capacity is 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at both 500 V and 690 V — that covers most industrial service entrances and sub-distribution boards without needing a current-limiting fuse upstream. Thermal derating is gradual: holds 50 A up to 50 °C, then drops to 49 A at 55 °C, 48 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. If your panel ambient runs hot, size the breaker for the derated value, not the nameplate.
Fit and Panel Integration
Dimensions: 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width (3 in), 70 mm depth. Comes with 2 auxiliary switches (HQ design) factory-fitted. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V.
