The 690 V AC / 500 V DC operational voltage covers standard 400 V three-phase panels and many DC bus applications up to 500 V. The 2 kA short-time withstand (1 s and 0.5 s) means it can pass fault current up to that level while the upstream breaker clears, so it coordinates with a 2 kA SCCR panel. The IP40 front protection keeps tools and fingers out but is not sealed against washdown — indoor panel use only.
Deployment context
Mounts via busbar connection with front terminals — designed for panel mounting on a busbar system, not DIN rail. The 76.2 mm width (3-pole) and 130 mm height fit standard MCCB panel cutouts. The undervoltage release (UVR) at 24 V DC allows integration into safety circuits: if the UVR coil loses power, the disconnector opens, providing a controlled isolation on control-voltage loss — typical for emergency-stop chains or undervoltage protection schemes.
