The Siemens 3VA1163-1AA32-0CC0 is a SENTRON switch disconnector built in an MCCB-style frame (IEC frame 160). It is rated for 63 A continuous current (Iu) and can handle up to 690 V AC or 500 V DC on the main circuit. Critically, this is a pure disconnector — it provides no overload protection and no short-circuit protection. Its job is safe isolation under load, not circuit protection. The UVR with leading contact is not present on this variant. If your application requires the UVR to break the main contacts before the auxiliary signals it, this is not the right option — check the -0CC1 or similar suffix. The 2 HQ aux switches are wired separately and provide status feedback to the control system.
Front terminals for the main circuit use busbar connections — plan for busbar stabs or fork-type lugs, not ring terminals. The 3-pole footprint is 76.2 mm wide (roughly 4.5 standard modular units), 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep.
