It is built on the IEC frame 160 platform and carries the SD100 designation, meaning it provides isolation and switching without overload or short-circuit protection. The 63 A rating is flat from 40 °C through 70 °C, so it holds its full current in a warm panel without a derate curve. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, with AC operating voltage to 690 V and DC to 600 V. Maximum power loss is 38 W. Two HQ auxiliary changeover contacts are built in. Mechanical service life is 15 000 operating cycles typical.

Dimensions are 70 mm deep by 101.6 mm wide by 130 mm high. Front terminals accept busbar connection for the main circuit. The front face carries IP40 protection — suitable for enclosed panel mounting where tools are required to access live parts. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. An optional motor drive can be added for remote switching.
