What the ratings mean for fit
The 3VA1163-3EE32-0AA0-ZD00 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 circuit breaker from Siemens' 3VA1 line, rated 63 A continuous with an interrupting capacity of 25 kA at 415 V (breaking capacity class N). That Icu figure tells you it safely clears a fault up to 25 kA without welding or rupturing — critical for panel SCCR compliance when the available fault current at the board lands in that range. The TM220 overload unit gives you an adjustable thermal trip band from 44 A to 63 A, so you set Ir to match the cable or load, not the breaker's In. Short-circuit pickup is fixed at 10 x In (630 A magnetic), which is typical for motor-circuit coordination — lets the motor start without nuisance trips while still catching a bolted fault.
Panel integration notes
Mounts on standard DIN rail in the enclosure. The nut keeper kit (included per the order code) holds the busbar or cable lug fasteners in place during assembly — saves a hand when you're torquing down the line and load terminals in a tight panel. Frame 160 footprint means it occupies roughly the same DIN space as other 160 A frame breakers; check the depth clearance for the TM220 trip unit housing.
