Its TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release handles the overload and short-circuit trip curves, while the integrated undervoltage release (UVR) — designated 3VA9608-0BB24 — drops the breaker when supply voltage falls below the dropout threshold. Breaking capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V and 75.6 kA at 415 V, so it clears high-fault conditions on distribution feeders or large motor branch circuits without cascading upstream.
The 63 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C — no derating needed in a typical 40 °C panel — then drops to 60.48 A at 55 °C and 56.7 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliary contacts and release configuration
Comes with 2 auxiliary switches (HQ type) — enough for a status feedback to the PLC and a remote indication lamp without adding a side-mount block. The undervoltage release is factory-fitted; no field wiring of a separate UVR module. No voltage trigger, no phase failure detection, no communication module, and no ground fault monitoring on this variant — it's a straightforward line-protection breaker, not a power monitoring device. Latching endurance is 15 000 operations, typical for distribution-grade MCCBs.
