SENTRON 3VA1163-5EE32-0JC0 — 63 A MCCB with Shunt Trip
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1163-5EE32-0JC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying 63 A continuously at 40 °C ambient and derating to 58 A at 70 °C.
At 440 V the rating is 75.6 kA; at 500 V and 690 V it holds 17 kA — still adequate for most motor control center (MCC) infeeds at those voltage levels. Thermal derating is minimal: 63 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then 62 A at 55 °C, 61 A at 60 °C, 60 A at 65 °C, and 58 A at 70 °C. For a panel running at 50 °C ambient (common in enclosed switchgear), the breaker delivers its full 63 A frame rating.
Dimensions are 76.2 mm wide (3 in), 130 mm high (5.12 in), and 70 mm deep (2.76 in). Two HQ auxiliary switches and the shunt trip are integrated inside the breaker body — no external wiring compartments needed for the accessories.
