The TM240 trip unit's adjustable Ir band (44–63 A) lets you match the breaker to a 50 A or 63 A continuous load without changing the frame. Short-circuit pickup at 5–10 x In (315–630 A at the In=63 A setting) suits motor-starting inrush or transformer magnetizing currents that would nuisance-trip a lower Ii setting.
Integration notes
The nut keeper kit is intended for the DC Power OEM variant — verify lug torque specs against the terminal marking before torquing. The 3-pole footprint fits standard 3VA1 switchboard cutouts; leave at least 50 mm free above and below for arc-chamber venting.
