The Siemens 3VA1163-5MH36-0AA0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 63 A continuous at 40 °C, with a TM120M thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. The starter protection version tailors the trip curve to motor inrush, so it coordinates with a contactor and overload relay rather than nuisance-tripping on start. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, and the breaker is rated for 75.6 kA at 440 V, 7.5 kA at 500 V and 690 V. The TM120M release provides fixed thermal and magnetic settings — no field-adjustable trip unit — which simplifies specification and reduces the chance of mis-coordination. Front IP40 protection is adequate for clean panel environments.
