What this 3VA1 breaker carries
The Siemens 3VA1163-6MH32-0BH0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 molded case circuit breaker with a 63 A thermal-magnetic trip (TM120M, AM type) and a breaking capacity class H rated at 70 kA at 415 V. That 70 kA Icu at 415 V means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level on a 415 V line without welding or exploding — the kind of fault current you see close to a large transformer or on a high-capacity industrial distribution board. It ships without overload protection (the TM120M provides short-circuit protection only), so it pairs with an external overload relay for motor starting duty.
Built-in accessories and control wiring
This variant comes factory-fitted with an undervoltage release (UVR) coil at 24 V DC, two HQ auxiliary switches, and one HQ trip alarm switch. The UVR trips the breaker when control voltage drops, which is standard for emergency-stop circuits or undervoltage protection schemes where you want the breaker open if the control supply fails. The auxiliary switches give status feedback back to a PLC or panel lamp — one for the main contact position, one for the trip alarm. The nut keeper kit is included, which simplifies panel mounting on a DIN rail or backplate when you're working in tight enclosures.
