MCCB for line protection — 80 A, 3-pole
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1180-3EF36-0AC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated 80 A at 40 °C, designed for line protection in distribution panels. Its TM240 thermal-magnetic release handles overload and short-circuit conditions up to 75.6 kA at 240 V and 52.5 kA at 415 V, with an insulation voltage of 800 V. The 70 mm depth and 76.2 mm width fit standard panel layouts, and the 2 auxiliary switches HQ provide status feedback to a PLC or annunciator.
Breaking capacity across voltages
At 240 V the interrupting rating is 75.6 kA; at 415 V it drops to 52.5 kA; at 440 V it is 32 kA; and at 500 V and 690 V it holds at 11.9 kA.
