MCCB for line protection with integrated undervoltage release
Breaking capacity is 75.6 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 240 V, and 52.5 kA at 440 V — per the datasheet, these are the maximum prospective fault currents the breaker can safely interrupt at those line voltages. No communication function on board — this is a standalone line-protection device, not a power-monitoring breaker.
The 3VA1180-4EF36-0CC0 measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint that fits most Siemens SENTRON distribution panels and third-party enclosures with the appropriate mounting kit. The 70 mm depth (2.76 in) keeps the breaker within typical 200 mm deep enclosures, leaving room for cable bending radius behind the line and load terminals.
