The TM240 thermal-magnetic release means the thermal element tracks load heating; the magnetic trip is fixed at 240 A nominal, so it clears bolted faults fast without nuisance trips on motor inrush.
Interrupting rating drops with system voltage: 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V. If your panel feeds a 690 V drive bus, that 17 kA figure governs the SCCR — verify it against the available fault current upstream.
Thermal derating and ambient
Above that, it begins to taper: 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliaries and releases
This variant includes an undervoltage release (UVR) — the auxiliary release design is listed as undervoltage release. The trip indicator is present, so you get a local mechanical flag when the breaker trips on fault.
Physical fit
The breaker measures 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall — a 3-pole frame that fits standard SENTRON panel footprints.
