The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1180-6EF36-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 80 A continuous current at 40 °C through 50 °C, with a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Its interrupting capacity reaches 220 kA at 240 V, 154 kA at 415 V, and 121 kA at 440 V — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. The breaker carries an undervoltage release (UVR) as standard and two HQ auxiliary switches for status feedback.
Above that it derates: 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C. If the panel ambient runs at 60 °C, plan for a 75 A load ceiling. The dimensions — 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep — fit standard SENTRON 3VA panel cutouts; the IP40 front rating means it's suited for enclosed distribution boards, not washdown zones.
