Breaking capacity and coordination headroom
Its interrupting capacity hits 220 kA at 240 V, 154 kA at 415 V, 121 kA at 440 V, and still holds 17 kA at 690 V — which means this breaker is built for high-fault locations like transformer secondaries or large busway feeds where the available fault current is serious. The TM240 thermal-magnetic release handles the overload and short-circuit protection; no ground-fault monitoring or communication module on this variant.
Thermal derating — what it actually means for the panel
At 55 °C it derates to 76.8 A, then 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C.
Auxiliaries and trip options
The integrated auxiliary trip order code is 3VA9688-0BL30. A voltage trigger and mechanical trip indicator are present; undervoltage release and phase-failure detection are not fitted on this variant.
