It's designed for line protection in 415 V AC networks, with an interrupting capacity of 75.6 kA at 240 V AC and 52.5 kA at 415 V AC — enough for high-fault industrial panels where upstream coordination demands full-rated breaking. At 16 A it holds full rating from -25 °C up to 55 °C, then derates to 15 A at 60–70 °C, so in a warm enclosure you lose 1 A but still stay within typical branch circuit limits. Power loss is 7.06 W maximum — negligible for thermal budget in a crowded panel.
Mounts on a DIN rail or directly to a backplate via its 50.8 mm wide body (2 in) and 70 mm depth (2.76 in). If you need remote status or shunt trip, you'll add external accessories or step to a different 3VA variant.
