MCCB for line protection — 4-pole, 16 A thermal-magnetic
It carries four poles and a TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit, rated 16 A continuously at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C — derated to 15 A at 60 °C and above. The interrupting capacity hits 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, 52.5 kA at 415 V, and 32 kA at 440 V, with a floor of 11.9 kA at 500 V and 690 V. That SCCR range covers most industrial and commercial service-entrance and feeder applications where fault current runs high at lower voltages.
Trip curve and thermal performance
The TM210 designation means a fixed thermal-magnetic characteristic — no interchangeable trip unit, no electronic adjustments. The thermal element tracks a 16 A continuous rating from 40 °C through 55 °C without derating; above that, the curve pulls back to 15 A at 60 °C and 65 °C, and 70 °C is the operating ceiling. Magnetic pickup is fixed by the TM210 design, so coordination studies need the published time-current curve from the 3VA manual.
