Molded case circuit breaker for line protection
It carries a TM210 thermal-magnetic release — the '210' designates a fixed thermal rating of 16 A at 40 °C, with magnetic pickup at 10× In (160 A). Breaking capacity is 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, tapering to 52.5 kA at 415 V and 32 kA at 440 V — figures that cover most North American and European distribution fault levels. At 500 V and 690 V it holds 11.9 kA, adequate for industrial 480/600 V services with moderate available fault current.
Panel integration and ratings
The breaker occupies a 101.6 mm wide by 130 mm tall footprint with a 70 mm depth — a standard 4-pole MCCB form factor for DIN-rail or panel-mount installation. IP40 on the front face means protection against tools and small wires entering the enclosure; the rear and sides are open for panel cooling. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, so the breaker is suitable for 480/277 V and 600/347 V systems with margin. Maximum power loss is 10.6 W at rated current — modest enough that ventilation slots in the panel cover are sufficient; no forced cooling is required. The TM210 release has no trip indicator, undervoltage release, or communication function — it is a straight thermal-magnetic breaker for basic overcurrent protection.
