The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1220-4EF32-0DA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 200 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It's configured for line protection — no ground fault monitoring, no communication module, no auxiliary contacts.
Breaking capacity and derating
Breaking capacity varies sharply with system voltage: 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 25 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 690 V. Current derating starts at 55 °C: full 200 A up to 50 °C, then 194 A at 55 °C, 188 A at 60 °C, 182 A at 65 °C, and 176 A at 70 °C.
Integration notes
Footprint is 105 mm wide by 158 mm high by 70 mm deep — standard panel-mount dimensions for a 200 A frame MCCB. The integrated undervoltage release (UVR) is fitted as standard; the auxiliary trip module is ordered separately as 3VA9608-0BB25. No auxiliary contact block is included, so if you need status feedback, plan for an add-on.
