That means at a typical 400 V industrial service, you have over 75 kA of interrupting capability — enough for most high-fault locations like substation feeders or large motor starters.
The shunt trip allows remote tripping via a control signal, useful for emergency-stop circuits or undervoltage protection schemes. No communication function is built in, so remote monitoring requires the auxiliary contacts wired to an I/O module.
