MCCB for high-fault panels
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1220-5EF32-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for a continuous current of 200 A with a TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Its interrupting capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V and 121 kA at 415 V — high enough for most main-service or feeder positions in industrial distribution where fault current is stiff. An integrated undervoltage release (UVR) is fitted as standard, so the breaker drops open if the control voltage falls below the dropout threshold — common in safety circuits or emergency-stop chains that need a loss-of-voltage trip. No communication module or ground-fault monitoring is built in; if you need those, they are external add-ons.
The breaker holds its full 200 A rating up to 50 °C ambient, then derates linearly to 176 A at 70 °C.
