Line protection MCCB with 200 A frame and 220 kA interrupting capacity
The interrupting capacity peaks at 220 kA at 240 V, dropping to 154 kA at 415 V, 36 kA at 440 V, and 17 kA at 690 V — these numbers tell you the fault current it can safely clear at each system voltage without welding contacts or rupturing the arc chamber. The TM240 release is fixed, not adjustable — set at 200 A continuous, with thermal trip characteristics for overload and magnetic trip for short-circuit.
Above that, derate linearly: 194 A at 55 °C, 188 A at 60 °C, 182 A at 65 °C, and 176 A at 70 °C. If your enclosure runs hot — say a crowded panel with drives — the 60 °C derate to 188 A is the real number to budget for.
