Rated continuous current Iu is 250 A, with a maximum AC operational voltage of 690 V (50/60 Hz) and a DC operational voltage of 500 V. The front-mounted busbar connection and IP40 front protection suit it for panel-mount distribution where a visible-break isolator is needed ahead of downstream loads.
Thermal derating — what the 250 A rating actually delivers
Above that, it derates: 243 A at 55 °C, 237 A at 60 °C, 230 A at 65 °C, and 223 A at 70 °C. If the panel internal ambient runs hot — say, above 50 °C — the usable current drops. That matters for an MRO planner or panel OEM sizing a disconnect for a densely packed enclosure; the 223 A floor at 70 °C is the real limit if the cabinet runs near its maximum operating temperature.
The main circuit connection is via busbar at the front terminals, which keeps wiring clean in a multi-breaker lineup. No undervoltage release or voltage trigger is fitted; motor drive is available as an optional add-on.
