Switch disconnector for isolation duty
It carries a max rated operational voltage of 690 V AC 50/60 Hz and 500 V DC, with an insulation voltage rating of 800 V. The front terminals accept busbar connection, so it lands in a panel-mount or enclosure busbar system, not a lugged cable entry.
It is not a circuit breaker — there is no overload or short-circuit release inside. The part is designed as a load-break switch for isolation duty under load, with a short-time withstand rating of 3 kA for 0.5 s and 1 s, meaning it can hold closed through a downstream fault until an upstream protective device clears it. The 15 000-cycle latching endurance covers mechanical life; electrical endurance under load will be lower and depends on switching frequency and current. The front protection class is IP40 — suitable for a clean indoor panel or enclosure with no washdown exposure.
