The shunt trip (STL) coil is rated 220-250 V DC or 208-277 V AC, so you can remote-trip it from a safety circuit or E-stop chain. Two HQ auxiliary switches (2 CO contacts) come integrated, giving you feedback contacts for the panel PLC or status lamps without adding a separate aux block.
The 250 A rated continuous current (Iu) sets the maximum load it can carry without overheating — sized for a main feeder or large motor branch disconnect. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 800 V, and max operational voltage is 690 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 500 V DC, so it's comfortable on 400 V/480 V panels and can handle DC bus applications up to 500 V. The short-time withstand is 3 kA for both 0.5 s and 1 s — that's the fault current it can survive while upstream protection clears. Not a high-fault-rated device; coordinate with a properly sized upstream breaker or fuse. Power loss is 57 W at full rated current — that's heat that has to be managed inside the enclosure. In a sealed panel with other devices, factor that into your thermal budget.
Mounts in a standard enclosure with front terminals for busbar connection. Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 158 mm high, 70 mm deep — that's a 3-pole MCCB footprint, so it'll drop into most panel layouts sized for a 250 A frame. The shunt trip and aux switches are wired to the control circuit; the shunt trip coil draws power only during the trip event, so no continuous load on the 24 V DC supply.
