Its breaking capacity is rated at 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 25 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 690 V — so at typical 400 V distribution voltages it clears faults up to 75.6 kA without cascading upstream breakers. The TM240 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release handles the overload and short-circuit protection curve, and a shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release is integrated for remote tripping. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V.
