Protection settings and deployment
It carries a TM220 thermal-magnetic trip unit. The overload protection (Ir) is adjustable from 350 A to 500 A, so you set it to match the full-load current of your motor or transformer feeder — not the breaker's In. Short-circuit protection (Ii) is fixed at 10 x In (5,000 A), which is a typical magnetic-only instantaneous pickup for motor branch circuits. The nut keeper kit included in the ZD00 suffix is for DC Power OEM builds in China, so if you're panel-building for that market the hardware is already there.
