Rated continuous current and breaking capacity
That figure holds across 40 °C to 50 °C ambient; above that, the thermal-magnetic trip (TM240) derates linearly to 583 A at 70 °C, per the datasheet curve. The breaking capacity reaches 121 kA at 240 V, 76 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 53 kA at 500 V, and 10.5 kA at 690 V — so the SCCR headroom at 480 V systems is substantial, and the part is suited for high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries.
The breaker measures 248 mm high, 184 mm wide, and 110 mm deep.
Thermal management and power loss
Maximum power loss is 192.9 W at rated current. That figure drives ventilation requirements inside the enclosure — at full load the breaker dissipates nearly 200 W, so the panel thermal calculation must account for this to avoid exceeding the 70 °C maximum operating temperature.
