At 415 V and 440 V it still holds 121 kA, and at 690 V it's rated 52.5 kA. The 3-pole construction with a TM240 thermal-magnetic trip unit means it responds to both overload (thermal) and short-circuit (magnetic) events.
Temperature derating — the real-world rating
The 1000 A rating holds up to 50 °C ambient. Above that, the breaker derates: 960 A at 55 °C, 940 A at 60 °C, 920 A at 65 °C, and 900 A at 70 °C. The maximum power loss is 330 W, which matters for enclosure heat calculations.
Physical fit and mounting
The breaker measures 320 mm high, 210 mm wide, and 120 mm deep. That's about 12.6 by 8.27 by 4.72 inches. It's a standard MCCB form factor for a 1000 A frame — expect to bolt it onto a mounting plate or DIN-rail adapter in a distribution panel. The 3-pole terminals accept lug connections sized for the full-rated current.
