The SENTRON 3VA2010-4JQ42-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current, sized for line-protection duty in distribution panels. It breaks up to 121 kA at 240 V and 75.6 kA at 415 V — figures that tell you it handles high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream.
Thermal performance and derating
This breaker holds its full 100 A rating from 40 °C through 70 °C ambient — no derating curve to calculate in a warm enclosure. That is unusual for an MCCB; most lose headroom above 40 °C. The operating range spans -25 °C to 70 °C, storage from -40 °C to 80 °C. Max power loss is 13.5 W, manageable in a sealed panel.
Ground-fault and communication
Ground-fault monitoring uses summation current formation on L + N conductor — it compares line and neutral current to detect leakage. No undervoltage release or voltage-trip module is fitted on this variant.
Panel fit
Dimensions are 181 mm high, 140 mm wide, 86 mm deep. The 4-pole body occupies the same footprint as other SENTRON 3VA frames, so a panel laid out for a 3VA100 or 3VA200 series breaker accepts this unit without re-drilling the mounting plate or re-routing bus bars.
