This is a line protection version — no undervoltage release, no ground fault monitoring, no communication function. The 187 kA breaking capacity at 240 V (121 kA at 415 V, 79 kA at 500 V, 3.4 kA at 690 V) means it can safely interrupt very high fault currents without upstream cascading, making it suitable for main feeder positions or high-SCCR panels. The thermal derating curve matters for panel layout: at 40 °C it carries the full 100 A, but at 70 °C it derates to 85 A. The 105 mm width and 86 mm depth fit standard SENTRON 3VA2 panel cutouts; the 181 mm height is consistent across the family. Maximum power loss is 13.5 W, which is modest for a 100 A frame but still worth including in your enclosure thermal calculation.
Mounts in a standard SENTRON panel cutout — no special adapter needed. The 4 HQ auxiliary switches (form C) are pre-installed; wire them before sliding the breaker onto the busbars. The ETU320 trip unit is field-replaceable if you later need a different curve. Front IP40 protection means it is splash-safe from the front but not sealed for washdown — keep it inside the enclosure.
