What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-5HL36-0JL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current, designed for line protection in distribution panels. Its breaking capacity is 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V — so at typical 400 V class supply it clears a 121 kA fault without cascading upstream. The thermal rating holds flat at 100 A from 40 °C through 70 °C ambient, which means no derating curve to chase in a warm enclosure.
Dimensions and panel fit
At 105 mm wide × 181 mm high × 86 mm deep, this MCCB fits standard 3-pole MCCB cutouts in a distribution panel; the depth is shallow enough for a 200 mm deep enclosure with gland plate clearance.
Auxiliary and release options
Factory-fitted with 2 auxiliary switches, 1 trip alarm switch, 1 electrical alarm switch (HQ type), plus a shunt trip release (STL) for remote tripping — covers status feedback and emergency-off loop integration without adding external relay logic.
