MCCB for high-fault panel positions
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-5HN32-0AG0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current, flat from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed across that band. Its interrupting capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415/440 V, and 75.6 kA at 500 V, making it a fit for high-fault service-entrance or distribution positions where available fault current is substantial. At 690 V the rating drops to 3 kA, so verify the line-to-line voltage at the point of installation.
Line protection with integrated auxiliary switch
Designed for line protection (cable/feeder protection, not motor or generator duty). The breaker ships with one auxiliary switch and one trip alarm switch (HP type) pre-installed, so status feedback to a PLC or SCADA is available without a separate accessory order. No undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module — this is a straightforward thermal-magnetic or electronic trip MCCB for standard distribution panels.
Panel fit and environmental limits
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep. Mounts in a standard switchboard or panelboard cutout; the 86 mm depth leaves clearance behind a typical 200 mm enclosure depth. Operating ambient range -25 °C to 70 °C, storage -40 °C to 80 °C. Maximum power loss 13.5 W — account for this in thermal calculations for densely populated panels.
