The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-5JQ32-0HL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C. It carries a breaking capacity of 187 kA at 240 V AC, stepping down to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. The adjustable thermal-magnetic trip is field-set from 20 A to 100 A, with a trip indicator and voltage trigger for remote signaling. Designed for line protection, the breaker also supports communication functions for integration into monitored distribution systems.
The adjustable trip from 20 A allows coordination with downstream 20 A branch breakers.
The 3-pole form factor fits standard Siemens SENTRON switchgear footprints. The shunt trip (STL) and auxiliary switch block (2 aux + 1 trip alarm + 1 electrical alarm HQ) are factory-installed; no field-assembly of internal accessories required. Power loss is 13.5 W maximum at rated load, which is manageable for a ventilated enclosure.
