What this MCCB delivers
The Siemens 3VA2010-5JQ32-0JH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker from the SENTRON family, designed for line protection. It carries a full-scale rating of 100 A and holds that rating flat across the entire ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed in a warm cabinet. Interrupting capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, and still 75.6 kA at 500 V; at 690 V it drops to 3 kA, so for 690 V systems this breaker is a backup device, not the main fault limiter. Built-in communication and a shunt trip release (STL,) allow remote tripping and integration into a monitored distribution scheme. The auxiliary switch configuration — two auxiliary switches plus one trip alarm switch HQ — gives status feedback for both normal and fault states. A voltage trigger and trip indicator are present; no undervoltage release is fitted. Maximum power loss is 13.5 W.
Mounting and integration
Dimensions are 181 mm high, 105 mm wide, 86 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for panel-mounting on a backplate or DIN rail. The 105 mm width is the same as the 3VA1110 frame family, so a panel laid out for a 3VA1110-5EF32-0AM0 will accept this breaker without drilling new holes or shifting busbars. Verify the busbar lug centers match your existing tap-off; the physical envelope is interchangeable.
