SENTRON 3VA2010-5KP32-0HL0 — 100 A MCCB with ETU850, active production
The ETU850 electronic trip unit provides adjustable protection curves and integrates a communication function for remote monitoring or integration into a higher-level energy management system. Breaking capacity is voltage-dependent: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 79 kA at 500 V, and 3.4 kA at 690 V. This makes it suitable for high-fault-current installations at common distribution voltages, with the 690 V figure indicating a reduced but still serviceable interruption capability for that voltage class. The breaker carries a mechanical endurance of 20,000 operations.
Derating begins at 55 °C (96.25 A), stepping down to 92.5 A at 60 °C, 88.75 A at 65 °C, and 85 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 13.5 W. Panel builders should account for this dissipation in enclosure thermal calculations, especially when grouping multiple breakers.
Dimensions are 181 mm height, 105 mm width, 86 mm depth.
Auxiliary components and wiring note
The base switch internal subcomponent is 3VA2010-5KP32-0AA0; the integrated auxiliary trip subcomponent is 3VA9688-0BL30. No undervoltage release or phase failure detection is included on this variant. No ground fault monitoring version is fitted.
