The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-6HL32-0AD0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C through 70 °C — no derating needed across that span. Breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V. That 242 kA at 240 V means it can interrupt a fault current up to that level without upstream devices needing to clear it — useful for high-fault service entrances or transformer secondaries where the available short-circuit current is high.
Integration & Mounting
Dimensions are 181 mm high, 105 mm wide, 86 mm deep. The 105 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — fits most panel-mount cutouts and busbar systems designed for that pole spacing. No trip indicator, no undervoltage release, no communication function — this is a straight line-protection breaker. Max power loss is 13.5 W, so thermal management in a sealed enclosure is straightforward.
Design & Approvals
Designed for line protection (not motor or feeder-only). Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. The supplied basic switch is 3VA20106HL320AA0. Auxiliary switch configuration is 3 auxiliary switches HQ. Ground-fault monitoring is not included. No voltage trigger or other measurement function.
