What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-6HL32-0DL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current across the full 40–70 °C ambient range — no derating needed up to 70 °C, which is uncommon and simplifies panel thermal budgeting. It's designed for line protection (cable/feeder protection) and carries an undervoltage release (UVR) as the auxiliary release, plus a factory-fitted auxiliary switch block: 2 auxiliary switches + 1 trip alarm switch + 1 electrical alarm switch HQ. Breaking capacity is 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V — so it handles high-fault-current industrial mains without cascading upstream.
Mounting and panel fit
Dimensions are 86 mm deep, 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall — a standard MCCB footprint for 100 A frame size, so it drops into existing SENTRON 3VA panel cutouts and busbar arrangements without rework. The 3-pole block mounts on a DIN rail or direct panel; the UVR coil and auxiliary switch block are pre-installed, saving wiring time on the line side. Maximum power loss is 16 W — low enough to avoid forced cooling in a standard IP54 enclosure, but check the thermal dissipation if packing multiple breakers in a small cabinet.
